Alicante City area

Marina Baja

Marina Alta

Lált Vinalopo
To the west of the Alicante province; a combination of steep mountain ranges and fertile, cultivated plains created by the Vinalopó River which runs through L’Alt Vinalopó. El Vinalopo Mitja

Baix Vinalopo

El Comtat

L´Alalcoia

Vega Baja
The southernmost district of Alicante. The coastline and its beaches are superb and consequently heavily developed with well established tourist centres such as Torrevieja and Guardamar del Segura. Geographically, Alicante Province is made up of a semicircle of mountain ranges that surround the capital of Alicante city, a major port and a thriving modern city. L’Alacanti’s tourist resorts are renowned, thousands upon thousands of people are drawn here each summer to absorb themselves in the fantastic surroundings that Alicante has to offer.
There is are an enormous range of watersports on offer in the area because of the beautiful climate, white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters; including wind surfing, snorkelling, water skiing, scuba diving, fishing, sailing and jet skiing.
Inland lie the famous orange groves of the Valencia oranges and forests of date palms. Alicante also offers a wide variety of historic monuments and museums, not to forget great shopping.
The Al Altet airport is 10 kilometres from the city centre just off the A7 which will also take you to the French border. The national N340 road will connect you to Valencia and Barcelona. The port with its routes direct to the Balearics and Algiers.
